This meeting will be a strategic planning session focused on our collective next steps and preparations for the upcoming People’s Conference: Called to Action, Thursday, June 12- Saturday, June 14. As our movement advances from agitation to mobilization, now is the time to coordinate impactful action.
Over the past few months, we’ve heard insight and bold analysis from leaders like Yusef D. Jackson, Rev. Dr. Jamal Bryant, Rev. Dr. William Barber, Van Jones, Father Michael Pfleger, Dr. Frank Thomas, Rev. Otis Moss III, and Attorney General Kwame Raoul. Their contributions have grounded our conversations in both spiritual conviction and strategic clarity.
As threats intensify—including efforts by the current administration to roll back civil rights protections, dismantle federal agencies, and undermine democratic institutions—we will focus on how our network can mobilize with clarity and courage around these issues and more.
