Rev. Jackson to lead caravan of voters to Chicago Board of Election Commissioners site to Early Vote


Chicago, IL – Leading by example, Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr., will lead a caravan of voters today, Thursday, Oct. 1st, 11:30 a.m. from the Rainbow PUSH Coalition headquarters, 930 E. 50th St., to the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners’ Super Site, 191 N. Clark St. (Clark & Lake) to Early Vote.


On the first day of Chicago’s Early Vote, Rev. Jackson will hold a 12 noon press conference to urge all Chicagoans to Early Vote. Cook County residents may Early Vote from October 19-November 2nd.


With a united inter-denominational faith coalition urging their members to Early Vote, Rev. Jackson is also reaching out to those who will turn 18 before the November 3rd election to come out in huge numbers and Early Vote.
