Sen. Elizabeth Warren is the latest top-tier Democratic presidential hopeful to confirm she will speak at the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, Citizenship Education Fund and PUSH Excel Annual International Convention in Chicago, June 28 - July 2.

On Saturday, June 29, 2019, Sen. Warren will address the convention of civil rights activists, religious leaders, corporate executives, foreign dignitaries, union members, sports legends, gospel giants, scholars, students and many others during an international broadcast and community forum at Apostolic Faith Church, 3823 S. Indiana Avenue.

The broadcast and forum will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The day before - June 28 - former Vice President Joe Biden will help kickoff the 5-day convention with special remarks at the 12 p.m. Labor Luncheon at the headquarters of the Chicago Teachers Union (CTU), 1901 W. Carroll Avenue.

Pete Buttigieg, the 37-year-old mayor of South Bend, Indiana and presidential hopeful, will be the keynote speaker at the 8:30 a.m. Business Breakfast on the last day of the gathering, Tuesday, July 2, at the Sheraton Grand Hotel Chicago, 301 E. North Water Street.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot will attend both the Labor Luncheon and the Business Breakfast.

Changing the direction of the country by registering millions of voters and electing a progressive president - as well as office holders at every level of local, state and federal government - will be center stage of the convention.

Rainbow PUSH Coalition is currently working out logistics with other presidential hopefuls and will announce the details of their participation as arrangements are finalized.

"Everything we've fought for - and won - over the last 60 plus years is under attack and in serious peril," said Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr., founder and president of the Rainbow PUSH. "But if we vote our numbers and our needs, we will stop this American counter revolution dead in its tracks."
