Klobuchar and Gabbard Join Growing List of Presidential Hopefuls at Rainbow PUSH Coalition Convention

 

Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Rep. Tulsi Gabbard will attend the Rainbow PUSH Coalition Annual International Convention in Chicago on Saturday, June, 29, joining a growing list of Democratic presidential hopefuls at the five-day gathering of civil rights icons, labor leaders, gospel giants, business executives, tech entrepreneurs, elected officials, foreign dignitaries, sports legends, scholars and students.

 

Just days after appearing on stage together at the first Democratic presidential debate in Miami, Klobuchar, Gabbard and Sen. Elizabeth Warren will each speak during the convention's international broadcast and community forum Saturday, June 29, 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the Apostolic Faith Church, 3823 S. Indiana Ave.

 

Gabbard is also scheduled to attend the convention's Love Music Festival, featuring Rev. Al Sharpton, Doug E. Fresh, the Kinsmen, Charles Jenkins and Fellowship Chicago and more Saturday, June 29, 1 p.m. - 7 p.m. on the grounds of the DuSable Museum of African American History, 740 E. 56th Place.

 

The festival will include music, dancing, food and a special Nickelodeon-themed play lot will be on site for the children to enjoy. The family-friendly event is free.
